The language of nature

Triglav National Park is one of the oldest protected natural areas in Europe. More than 100 years ago, Albin Belar initiated the idea of establishing a nature conservation park above Komarča.

Alpine valleys, mountain ridges, and peaks of the Julian Alps, high mountain lakes, waterfalls, gorges, and rock pools, cultural heritage represented by archaeological finds, cultural and historical monuments and sites, as well as the rich living world of plants and animals, form the heritage that every visitor to Triglav National Park helps preserve for future generations.
