Mlinarica gorge
Narrow gorges of the left tributary of the Soča River
The left tributary of the Soča River, which originates below Prisank and Razor, has created narrow gorges in its lower course.
The valley of Mlinarica narrows in its lower course into a unique, kilometer-long gorge. The narrowest sections are only about 1 meter wide, and wedged rocks have created natural bridges in several places. Inside the gorges, there are numerous waterfalls and pools. The maximum depth of the canyon is estimated to be between 70 and 80 meters.
